Some St. Cloud residents receive ballots missing city races, supervisor of elections says

ST. CLOUD, Fla. — Osceola County Supervisor of Elections Mary Jane Arrington said a voter who lives in St. Cloud and requested a mail-in ballot noticed the city races were missing.

They immediately contacted the election’s office.

“The minute he contacted us, we jumped into action to make sure we had the correct information, and then we had to update our database,” Arrington said.

It turns out that the voter and about 800 others were recently annexed into city limits, making them eligible to vote in city elections, but Arrington said the election’s office never received notice of the changes.
