I visited my state representative's business today. Angie Nixon runs Cafe Resistance in Jacksonville.

A friend and I just popped in for a quick look around. It was a nice, positive space she has created to serve the local community and often has a number of different kinds of events there to help locals and promote positive things for the community. I have not been much of a reader the past few years, but have been a voracious reader in the past. I may have to go back and buy a book or two, if for no other reason than to support her efforts.

Tomorrow is the Florida primary and I will be voting for her once again. She is a bright, and hopefully rising, member of the Florida Democratic Party and I hope she will run for higher office at some point in the future.
