Indian River County tax collector election results: winner chosen in Tuesday primary
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY − Incumbent Carole Jean Jordan will serve another term as tax collector after defeating Republican rival Brenda Bradley in the primary election Tuesday. It will be Jordan’s fifth term.
Among Jordan's stated campaign goals were meeting greater demand from population growth for services such as driver licenses, Transportation Security Administration PreCheck and concealed carry permits and to continue modernizing efforts to be what she said was, "one of the most fiscally responsible tax collector offices in Florida" with "sterling customer care."
