Yeah, I could have voted early but I didn't want to. I am feeling super!

(2,593 posts)I have voted early on occasion, but I like the ritual of actually going to the polls on Election Day.
My kids voted absentee but I don't trust that they get counted.

I saw lots of young people voting at my polling place. Unfortunately, some had registered to vote but were not on the voting list at my precinct. The poll workers were trying to resolve the problems.
We have a lot of first time, college student voters in our community. I hope they get to vote. The ones having problems may not have followed up to make sure they were actually registered in this county.

(12,262 posts)We vote early to allow my son (who lives at college) to vote.
I've been seeing a lot of Bernie signs in dorm windows.... hopefully all those kids can find the time to vote.
Oh, we live in one of the reddest counties in Georgia - it's funny to see the looks on the face of the poll workers when we get a Democratic ballot, kinda' like they're looking at someone with 6 eyes.
Also, whether you're for Bernie or Hillary, get out there and vote.

(21,613 posts)The polling places here in my NE GA city are busy this Election Day! My son's elementary school is a polling place. The parking lot was packed full.
I live in a blue island in a sea of red. I'm hoping for a Sanders win in my county!
Go vote! It felt great!
