(4,648 posts)1. So there are still about 100,000 votes to count
If the 97.9% counted number is accurate.
So Joe has to make up an ~19,000 vote deficit. Basically, he needs to get over 60% of the remaining vote and he seems to have been doing much better than that up to this point. I believe he will win Georgia.

(52,745 posts)2. 2% left. That's 98105 votes. He needs to make up 18,540 votes in those 98,105.
Georgians what do you think, given the places where those votes are coming from?

(21,613 posts)3. If the votes are coming from DeKalb & Fulton Counties, Biden can win.
Ossoff may be able to force a runoff. You need 50% + 1 vote to win outright.

(11,167 posts)4. Yes, Fulton and DeKalb are blue counties.
My county Gwinnett has elected Democrats across the board. County Commissioners, Sheriff, District Attorney and a Congresswoman. We are part of Metro Atlanta.

(21,613 posts)5. Chatham County/ Savannah are still processing & counting.
Squinch
(52,745 posts)6. Meaning there might be more votes out there than we are taking into account?
CottonBear
(21,613 posts)7. Yes. Absentee ballots submitted on Nov 3 + military
Squinch
(52,745 posts)8. I wonder how the military will go.
CottonBear
(21,613 posts)9. There are huge military bases here in GA. Lots of POC in the army.
I have no idea how they will vote.
