Atlanta police motorcycles burned in intentional fire, officials say

Atlanta Police Department motorcycles were damaged in an intentional fire caused by devices set inside a training facility early Saturday, officials said.

The Atlanta Fire and Rescue Department responded to reports of a multi-vehicle fire around 2:20 a.m. and found multiple motorcycles on fire, WANF-TV reported.

Firefighters at the scene found “incendiary devices” used to start the fire, officials said. The location of the fire Saturday on Southside Industrial Parkway was not the same as the planned Atlanta Public Safety Training Center that has drawn protests from opponents, WANF reported.

Here is an article about the police in Georgia are targeting the protest against Cop City training center.I think it might provide some background. https://www.counterpunch.org/2023/06/30/field-notes-from-the-frontlines-of-the-governments-war-on-the-left/ I suspicious the cops planted this and now want to buy new expensive replacements.

"Police Special" Harleys are prized by the Hell's Angels as "club bikes" - owned by the HAMC instead of individual members, used for "monkey business". Not heavily modified or "dolled up".
H-D prefers to sell new Police Specials directly to law enforcement - some dealers have gotten in hot water by selling new police bikes to the Angels! Some mildly burned cop bikes will bring good $$$$$ in salvage.
