He hopes everyone back home in Hawaii sees the same thing when they look at him.
You see, theres a story behind Mariotas facemask. Look closely, and you can see the bars spell out 808. Thats by design his design.
Hawaiis area code is 808, and the mask kind of spells that, Mariota said. It is a representation of where I came from. And it is special. It is such a blessing to be able to wear it.

I think they're trying to make amends for THAT mistake by establishing the Marcus Mariota Sports Performance Center...

The 30,000-square-foot venue, named after the schools 2014 Heisman Trophy winner and Titans second-year quarterback, combines sports performance, sports science, sports medicine and technology in one efficiently designed space, according to a release from the school.
