Misogynist political science professor

Says women belong at home, in the kitchen. Professor Scott Yenor of Boise State University claims independent women are “more medicated, meddlesome and quarrelsome than women need to be.” Also that efforts should not be made to recruit women to fields like engineering.

When asked to comment, Boise State University said, via a statement:

“Boise State University understands that the open exchange of ideas, which is fundamental to education, can introduce uncomfortable and even offensive ideas. However, the university cannot infringe upon the First Amendment rights of any members of our community, regardless of whether we, as individual leaders, agree or disagree with the message. No single faculty member defines what Boise State — or any public university — endorses or stands for."

This is the only "news" story I can find about this but there is an editorial published in the Idaho Statesman about how he really needs to be investigated.

Why, because they "know their place?" That is just a really simplistic docile vs assertive personality type argument. Utter nonsense.

Yenor’s comments at the Oct. 31 event went well beyond sexist stereotypes, with the professor suggesting a nation could only be “great” if men and women were kept apart in their respective spheres.

“Young men must be respectable and responsible to inspire young women to be secure with feminine goals of homemaking and having children,” he told the crowd. “Every effort must be made not to recruit women into engineering, but rather to recruit and demand more of men who become engineers. Ditto for med school, and the law, and every trade,” he said.

Boise State professor responds after controversial comments toward women

by CBS2 News Staff Tuesday, November 30th 2021

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A Boise State professor who made national headlines for controversial statements against women has responded in a video message on social media.

He goes on to say...

"After the feminist revolution in the 1960s she abandoned aspirations of a family and children mostly for the sake of a mid-level job," Yenor said. "Is this a good trade? Are we even allowed to ask if it's worked out for her? Sure, the weakening of a family has been good for some, but for others, it has brought addiction, suicide, misery, crime, pain, and purposelessness."

Translating the above quote from Commander Yenor:

"Women used to be much more willing to die."
