Rep. Labrador to host April town halls in Meridian, Nampa

U.S. Rep. Raúl R. Labrador, R-Idaho, will host two public town halls this month, one in Meridian on April 19 and one in Nampa on April 24, according to a press release.

Labrador represents Idaho's 1st Congressional District, which covers western Idaho, including Canyon County and part of Ada County.

Several Idaho groups have demanded Idaho representatives and senators host town hall meetings this year so their voices can be heard on the state of the country, according to Meridian Press media partner, KBOI 2News.

Congressman Mike Simpson told KBOI in February that he is not a fan of the town hall format.
