Boise State University Splits Ties With City Over Proposed Stadium

Boise State University is no longer interested in sharing a proposed sports stadium downtown with the city.

The university had been in talks with the city of Boise about sharing any future stadium since 2015.

But now, Boise State officials say they plan to build their own baseball stadium on – or near – campus.

In a statement, President Bob Kustra says the long-term lease that would’ve come with a shared stadium didn’t make financial sense.
