He won by 380,000 votes in Cook county. The rest of the state not so much. I'm still a fan. He's an honest, man of the people. He just got a raw deal in an off year election against a billionaire. The Dems still have a veto proof majority in both houses of the state legislature so Rauner can talk all the crazy shit he wants but the Dems will hold him in check. At least for the next two years anyway.

He's honest, diligent, and committed to fair taxation, job creation, infrastructure improvement, and efficient government operating within the law. Pat Quinn rose from humble beginnings, he has been a reformer all his life, and he has a long record of achievements that will be his legacy, whatever happens after this.
