(We're near Waukegan, and the storms pretty much missed us.)

3. My daughter and family had their RV distroyed

Several days ago. They were camped on the Missouri River near Ft Thompson SD.
They heard it but had no time. Rolled the camper 3 times lifting it over a power pole. Fortunately a big tree stopped it from going into the river. The tree had been knocked over but base held.

They were very lucky with minor injuries. Camper distroyed.
