some things mentioned in the video, in case one is wondering what the protest is about without having to listen to   1 1/4   minutes of video first. And the status - they still haven't gotten results of the chemical tests back, so they don't know what it is except something that makes water red.

It's not dangerous to handle, is readily available in bulk, & if pretty cheap.
It's a phenylazo compound using naphthalene sulfonic acid with an amine & alcohol group, the neutralized into a sodium salt.
It takes a heck of a lot of dilution to get rid of it. I would think hydrogen peroxide would get rid of a lot of the red, but I've never tried it. I didn't do a whole lot of work with dyes.

I have strong opinions about the genocide of Palestinians too, as well as those on climate change.. Doing stupid stuff like this, or doing damage, even temporarily, to Stonehenge, is not going to get my support. As a matter of fact, it's going to do the opposite. I have to condemn this type of protesting. It does nothing for the cause except divide and push people away.
