I'm expressing my disappointment with Congressman Mike Quigley
I used to live in his district, then they changed the boundaries last election and I wound up in Delia Ramirez' district. However, I would like to respectfully express my disappointment in Congressman Quigley's decision to publicly call for President Biden to sidestep the will of the primary voters and exit the election based on his debate performance.
I have found the Congressman to be helpful, and with a strong sense of values which drive his service to the district. I have financially contributed to his re-election in the past, and have corresponded with him on issues which he shares a similar opinion. I am currently contributing to Biden's re-election fund, to the Democratic party congressional election fund, and volunteering time to help register Democratic voters across the state line. I am disappointed that the Congressman chose to express an opinion that has created chaos and confusion, and has lowered the moral of supportive Democrats who see Trump as an existential threat to American democracy, and President Biden as the means to prevent his election.
