Early voting expands in Illinois this week. Here's what to know

The 2024 Illinois elections are rapidly approaching, and with just over two weeks until Election Day, early voting is expanding this week.

Additional voting sites will open in multiple counties beginning on Oct. 21, with sites in all 50 of Chicago’s wards among those being added to the mix as voters cast their ballots in coming days.

Early voting will continue through Nov. 4, with Election Day falling on Nov. 5.
