Bauer out as minority leader?

INDIANAPOLIS -- Rep. Pat Bauer's tenure as Democratic leader may be down to just a few hours.
Dissident members of the caucus have scheduled a meeting Thursday afternoon with the intent of ousting Bauer as leader, RTV6's Norman Cox reported.
Thursday's meeting was rescheduled from a couple of weeks ago, when dissidents canceled an attempted coup because they couldn't round up enough members.
Democrats are angry with Bauer over several issues, including what they see as his autocratic run of the caucus, disputes over how the campaign is being run, his transfer of campaign cash between various accounts he controls and the fact that numerous contributors have stopped giving to the caucus.
The caucus' main issue with Bauer is that Democrats are in the minority, and some of them blame him for that.

Pat is not a warm-and-fuzzy kind of guy, and often fights just to fight. But I saw him in action during the Right to Work debate, and I admired his tenacity.
The Democrats need a strong voice -- especially now when it's all-too-apparent where state government is headed. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, and who the caucus gets to replace him.
