Editorial: Pence must focus on core duties of governor

From the Herald-Bulletin:
(snip)

But you can bet the new governor wouldn’t be elected to a second term. Many believe that Pence has designs on the White House, but the promotion of an ultra-conservative agenda as Indiana’s governor would do him no favors in a national general election.

(and, snip again)

This may be a sign that he wants his governorship to be inclusive of people of different faiths, following the lead of former Gov. Mitch Daniels.

And that might be a signal that Pence is already heeding the call for moderation. Let’s hope so — for his sake and for the sake of Indiana.

He scares me. I really mean that. I cannot believe he won the election, and now they are pumping him up for a future White House bid? Ugh. NO. This cannot be.

And, sorry so disjointed, that article was written in a way that doesn't really allow me to properly share it. Good read though, for Indiana residents and really anyone interested in national politics.
