The Indiana State Police are investigating what they say are fraudulent voter registration forms in Marion and Hendricks counties.
The forms are among more than 28,000 submitted to county registration offices by a little-known group called the Indiana Voter Registration Project.
"We have determined at least 10 voter registration forms are confirmed to have fraudulent information," said Dave Bursten, a State Police spokesman.
Bursten said a team of six detectives is working to determine whether other forms are also fraudulent. The FBI has been briefed, he said.

(45,806 posts)very little about the group.
I found this article in the Indiana Star that states the group has an office which is rarely occupied. The spoke to a gentleman they found outside the office and he said a van picks them up each morning and drops them off in various neighborhoods to go door to door the see if anyone who wasn't registered wanted to do so. hey then had the perosn fill out and sign the form and gave them s receipt. The only specific thing the registrars office said was they did receive several forms that were missing information like phine numbers and SS #'s. Is THAT what they're calling fraud?
They claim they're non-partisan and not registered with the Secretary of State's office.
Neither Party leader knew anything about the group. Interesting.
