Marian University welcomes Saint Joseph's students

RENSSELAER, Ind. — Marian University is welcoming Saint Joseph's College students to its campus.

Amid Saint Joseph's announcement last Friday that it will temporarily suspend operations at the end of this semester, Marian University said it will assist students through a "seamless transfer process."

The private, Catholic school in Indianapolis is offering financial assistance that guarantees current Saint Joseph's students will pay the same out-of-pocket tuition they're currently paying, according to a Monday news release. It will also honor all transfer credits earned with a minimum grade of C-minus.

"The leadership at Saint Joseph's College reached out and asked if we could prepare plans to assist their students with a smooth transition during this difficult period," Marian University President Daniel Elsener said in a statement. "We consider Saint Joseph’s College a sister institution; we share the same mission. We want to help their students, staff and faculty in any way that we can."
