Bravo to whoever drew the IA lines. Three out of four House seats were competitive races.

Wish this one were a dozen votes bluer... but still.

It has been that way for quite a while. That includes the state level also.

We got whumped so badly at the state level and the Repugs have such an overwhelming advantage right now that I expect that will change also. With overwhelming advantages before Republicans have really changed other non-partisan selection processes (eg judges) to their heavy advantage.

They also have the governorship. Currently that I the horrendous Covid Kim Reynolds.
