Iowa's Covid vaccine system - a fucking mess as far as I can tell

after half a dozen calls and plenty of wait time on hold I believe (can't say I know for sure) my wife and I are on some waiting list. Probably the April list, but at least it is something.

We are both well over 65 and as most people our age we have some health problems.

And then there is also the Walgreen or Hy Vee hunger games approach. I am still confused by that.

My brothers and they families have been vaccinated - their health care took care of them. I go the same place and have heard nothing.

My wife's cousin was shopping in HyVee last week when someone approached him and offered him a vaccination.
