These 7 Iowa 2022 election hopefuls face challenges to their candidacy this week
A state panel will meet Tuesday to consider challenges over whether seven state and federal candidates will appear on Iowans' June primary ballot.
Those candidates include Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abby Finkenauer, Democratic Attorney General Tom Miller and Republican Senate Majority Leader Jack Whitver.
If the panel upholds the challenges, the candidates could be removed from the June 7 primary ballot.

This year, the panel will hear challenges to seven state and federal candidates. They are:
Abby Finkenauer, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate.
Kyle Kuehl, Republican 1st Congressional District candidate.
Tom Miller, Democratic attorney general candidate.
Anthony LaBruna, Republican candidate for Iowa Senate District 3.
Ken Rozenboom, Republican candidate for Iowa Senate District 19.
Jack Whitver, Republican candidate for Iowa Senate District 23.
Jeff Shipley, Republican candidate for Iowa House District 87.
