Voted early today

Very shortly after the polls opened. And even at 7:15 am, there was a steady stream of people. I guess a lot of people were voting before they went to work, and a few of them were older folks, like me, who wake up early. Anyway, I had zero problems voted entirely Democratic, and noticed something. Every race had the repuke candidates listed first. DeJear comes before Reynolds alphabetically, so they can't claim alphabetical order. I suppose the repukes may be counting on people being in a hurry and not paying attention. If so, it didn't work with me.

On my ballot, and my wife’s, the Democrat was listed first in every race.

and it was brought up many times that voting numbers were down across the state, especially early voting.
I sure hope that doesn't mean another 6 years of the worthless Chuck.

But really the one I really wanted to see get beat was Reynolds. By far the worst governor of Iowa ever and it is pretty hard to get lower than King Terry.

And yes I am serious. I think she and Kristi Noem of southern Dakota will be sucking up to Trump big time. It will be sickening.

Whatever, her big goal is to privatize Iowa's once proud public schools. It will be a disaster. But Iowa's vaunted press will hardly even notice.

If Grassley wins, he'll likely not finish his term and presto! Covid kimmy is the new junior Senator from the once great state of Iowa.
