DES MOINES, Iowa —

All of the counties are reporting results in the race for Iowa's 3rd Congressional District, according to Secretary of State Paul Pate.

The Associated Press called the race Wednesday afternoon. Results show Republican Zach Nunn with 156,237 (50.26%) votes. Democrat Cindy Axne has 154,084 (49.57%) votes.

Edit. Apparently this doesn't qualify for a re-count.

it usually has to be within 1/2% for a "free" recount, but getagrip_already Nov 2022 #2

Just think if Iowa had a decent press they would spend the next 2 years skewering these dumb bastards. But they will approach the four of them (plus Ernst and Grass) on bended knee.

A candidate can still request one if they pay for it themselves.

The question is, are the votes there to bother looking closely?
