The attorneys general are demanding proof by Oct. 23 of ActBlue's donation verification systems and accuse the nonprofit of failing to properly vet donations, which could cause unintentional donations or contributions with someone else's information.
The attorneys general did not make similar demands of WinRed, the official digital fundraising platform for Republican candidates.

Not making similar demands of WinRed is just hypocritical nonsense.

It is obvious political bullshit. And of course it is hypocritical as these same AG's do not have the same 'concerns and suspicions' about the identical Republican donor platforms.
A suspicion is not legal grounds to go on a fishing expedition.

(38,238 posts)I tried to avoid ActBlue cuz of all the texts/emails, but in the end, every dem I've given to goes through ActBlue unless you want to send a check. So, yes, a huge amount of the grassroots contributions will be through ActBlue. I'm also giving more to her campaign than any campaign in the past & I think many others are too.
They are jealous & also mean-spirited nasty shits.
