Ugh, Repukes in Dubuque tonight

On their regulation baaad kick too;

Burdensome regulations are having a detrimental impact on everyone from crop producers to craft beer brewers, according to a panel Wednesday at Grand River Center in Dubuque.

The four-member panel conveyed concerns to U.S. Sens. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, during a field hearing entitled “From Crop to Craft Beer: Federal Regulation’s Impact on America’s Food and Agriculture.”

Johnson and Ernst, both of whom serve on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, framed the event as a way to learn from experts in the field and bring those messages back to Washington, D.C. Both have consistently criticized the federal government for what they say is the over-regulation of business.

“What we want to do is make sure any rules or regulations that are in place in the United States make common sense,” Ernst said. “That they are actually beneficial for our industries, not harming our industries and cutting back on our economy.”

And of course when someone stood up and said regulations were a needed part of society Sen. Breadbags high tailed it out of there before the guy could ask the real tough questions.

The local fishwrap also noted Sen. Breadbags had to reiterate her support for Trumplethinskin

Koch puppet not allowed to use that word. Nice she rolls with Ron Johnson's farewell tour and tied herself to the mast of the Trumptanic. Where is Grassley not being seen this week? The invisible campaign.

She says of regulations, it is important "That they are actually beneficial for our industries, not harming our industries...."

I guess I'm just naive, but shouldn't regulations protect the public?
