Anyone remember this day

Seems pretty warm today so I went to weatherunderground to check on record temps in late September.

Ran across these records for the 29th, which is the start of early voting BTW:

Max Temperature 73 °F 140 °F (1997)
Min Temperature 49 °F 26 °F (1984)

Hope it doesn't get that hot this year - we are planning to trip down to the county auditor to vote for Hillary.

I don't remember exactly when I found this, but I think it was in July and the temps were pretty much in the mid to high 90's, every day. But never quite as hot as this reflected.

But due to the design of the system my room doesn't get as cool as the rest of the house. I wound up putting in the window unit I used before to help give the extra boost the central AC needed.

I'm going to leave mine in until the end of the month, maybe even a couple weeks into October just because of the way the temps can get around here.

Always wonder if some little peon throws little gems like this for us to find just to keep his job interesting
