Joni Ernst does MC Hammer "Can't Touch This" Police shootings

Ernst says it's up to local authorities--not the federal government--to quell the unrest. She adds she appreciates local officers for their efforts on the front lines.

"I do want to give credit to state and local authorities," said Ernst, "and those are the folks that really need to handle those situations. Again, they do a tremendous job."

The senator called on all Americans to work together to address race-related issues, instead of inciting violence.

Thank You Joni for the inspirational message of not touching issues with a ten foot pole. Crawl back in your Koch Cave until they need you again.

is apparently all that is needed to get some billionaire to buy you a U.S. Senate seat.

If you put Grassley, Ernst, and Branstad together in a room they wouldn't be able to figure out how to change a light bulb without an instruction manuel. Iowa has some of the dumbest politicians, including Steve "their calves are the size of cantaloupes" King, it's embarrassing.

The Van Meter Republican says the attacks demonstrate a lack of strategy from the Obama Administration in dealing with terrorism.

"We don't have a complete and comprehensive strategy to defeat ISIS," said Young. "We're still waiting for the administration's strategy on this. We put a provision in a law last year that the president has to report to Congress on a strategy to defeat ISIS, and we don't have one. It's a global strategy, as well as we're making sure we're aware of some of the things going on in our shores right now."

From Grassley staff to congressman chaff. What direction is the wind blowing today and how is it Obama's fault.
