How much you wanna bet if this had been a minority he'd be going to prison?

Just saw this now.

A rural Dubuque man accused of shooting at his wife and son recently was sentenced to two years of probation.

Thomas S. Steines, 68, of 12586 Barony Drive, was sentenced in Iowa District Court for Dubuque County on two counts of assault with use or display of a dangerous weapon. The sentence suspended a two-year prison sentence.

He also was given a deferred judgment on two counts of intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

Court documents said Suzette Steines told deputies that she was arguing with her husband at their home on April 27, 2016, when he fired a handgun at her three times. He also was accused of firing a shot at their son Michael Steines.

I wonder if he was not a white male if he would have gotten probation, or if he'd be on his way to the big house right about now?
