Steve King's racism is the face of Iowa's Republican Party

A gentleman in Clinton called out Reynolds for not firing King;

It was surprising when Gov. Reynolds excitedly announced Rep. Steve King as one of her campaign co-chairs. King is known for only two things: 1) He is consistently rated the least effective member of Congress, and 2) his frequent bigoted, racist statements. Which of these two features was Reynolds excited to add to her campaign?

Until Reynolds fires King from the position and she, along with Sens. Grassley and Ernst and Reps. Blum and Young publicly disavow King, then it stands that Steve King and his racism are the face of the Republican Party in Iowa.

or as I like to call it, eastern Nebraska. It doesn't matter who runs against him, any more than it matters who runs against Grassley. They will still win.

Even if we can't win we need to run such people against these idiots to make sure they understand that not everyone in Iowa thinks they're the second coming.

in Leann Jacobsen and JD Scholten.
I believe either of those two might be able to take King out. Tough to do, but I believe they can.

But I think Leann may have a tougher time since she's not native to IA. It's stupid of course, but knowing the people of NW IA, it would be used against her (she's one of them liberal Minnesotans doncha know).

He always used to tell me stories that the charges we leveled against his party being racist and beholden to the rich were stories. As far as I know, Jeff hasn't stood up yet about this.

Correct me if I am wrong.
