Now KCRG wants inputA 2016 Gallup poll found only 32% of Americans had a great deal or "a fair amount" of trust in the news media. We can and should do a lot better than that.
With that in mind, we are joining a national effort called "The Trusting News Project" to demonstrate our commitment to honest, fair reporting
Yeah, how about stopping the shilling for Agent Orange, Grassley, Joni, and the rest of the reich wing. Along with standing up to Republicans and refusing to air their horseshit commercials anymore.

(1,730 posts)Despite their milquetoast, kid-gloves treatment of Reynolds, Grassley (especially given all the recent shit he's pulled), and Ernst (nothing newsworthy except Koch ties), I must say that Sheidblum's interview with Blum in mid-summer (when he tried to bar nondistrict citizens from town halls) was positive in opening some eyes and minds in the First District. KWQC is hardly worth turning on anymore. They run the slanted bits from corporate (both are owned by Gray TV from Atlanta). So they are slowly becoming Sinclair as far as I can see.
I do watch KCRG news in waiting rooms sometimes - they seem pretty mediocre to me.
Many years ago they were a pretty good news place when they were actually local.
