Related: About this forumAwww, Joni doesn't like the Herr Orange tariffs
Joni has a sad nowThe Republican senator from Iowa, in a significant parting of ways with Trump, says the tariffs "are nothing more than a tax on Iowa farm families."
Uh, Joni, you voted for this. Along with many of your constituents. So your complaints mean nothing to me.

Her "immigration form letter" is out of date and doesn't address the crisis on the border.

(18,470 posts)They (Grassley, Ernst, Blum) don't listen anyways. They've got their heads so far up the Orange Fucker's backside that when he yawns they see daylight. I'd rather spend my time and energy on getting them voted out of office.

(10,600 posts)It's what they get for letting a goddamn madman write their precious precious tax cuts.
They thought they'd be immune from the rest of his insanity. I hope this lesson HURTS.

(10,600 posts)Their greatest fear has always been a populist LEFT uprising that would charge them an extra 30% on their taxes.
Little did they guess that the right-leaning popular uprising that theyve been funding for 30 goddamn years would label them rich educated liberal elites, and demand from them their fucking heads.
My response is as follows:
LOL Not my circus, not my Monkey, motherfuckers.

The structural damage will take years to correct.

(152 posts)Joni - thanks again for that awesome tax break I received.. $35 a month and with the price of gas increasing, Trumps tariffs, and your silence on your sheet wearing racist colleague in northwest Iowa, I'm beginning to think your Iowa nice persona is fake like your smile in the pic.

How can I come up with such a pessimistic outlook? Just look at what this mad man in the Oval office has been doing...trade wars, tariffs to the world and our friends to the north and south, personal insults to foreign leaders and nations at large...we are becoming HATED and untrustworthy around the world, the housing bubble, and a myriad of other factors.
I'm guessing this time next year...the shit is going to hit the fan.
