Related: About this forumWell, I voted earlier today.
Really easy. I'm and out in about 5 minutes. One thing I noticed about the ballots though. It used to be that there was an oval one could fill in for straight party voting. Now there's not. Doesn't matter, I voted straight ticket anyway. Just pay attention to the ballot and fill in the ovals accordingly.

(10,084 posts)I voted yesterday in Urbandale and they were rectangles. I took quite awhile to fill them in, although the majority of the time was voting on retention of judges.

(10,084 posts)With very few exceptions, I've always voted to retain, and did so this time. I'm in District 5, so the District, and Associate District, judges may be different where you are.

(1,757 posts)"I don't vote straight ticket. Just because I vote for all Republicans doesn't mean I vote straight ticket." So for many years, I enjoyed the little ripple of defiance, from not only voting for all Dems, but also filling in the straight ticket oval. One more thing the Rs have taken, sigh.
