(50,713 posts)No more rebuttals. They say it was to streamline the process so more questions can be brought to the elected officials.
What it actually does is allow them to pivot from the question without anyone calling them on it.
The answers for our first one this year were pretty hollow. There was a lot of "let's see what happens in the new year." Now that they've put in some more legislative time, we'll see if they try to weasel out of answering this time.
