TODAY: Progress Iowa Remarks After Private DeVos-Reynolds Meeting

Des Moines, Iowa -- Governor Kim Reynolds will meet with Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos today behind closed doors, along with other unknown participants at the Iowa State Capitol. The meeting is closed to the public and press, but will discuss how to divert funding from public schools with a voucher program. The Governor's office did not make the press or public aware of the meeting, despite it taking place at the capitol with the highest ranking education official in the country, along with other local elected officials. Their names are unknown to the public at this time.

Progress Iowa Executive Director Matt Sinovic will provide remarks to the press after their meeting and press availability.
