Related: About this forumKing too cowardly to admit he put up that meme on Facebook
Steve King, chickenshitRepublican Iowa Congressman Steve King was questioned Tuesday night at an event in Algona about something someone put on his social media over the weekend and then took down.
The image was on King's Facebook page. It shows a slug-fest between Democratic and Republican-leaning states. It says "folks keep talking about another civil war... one side has about 8 trillion bullets, while the other side doesn't know which bathroom to use." It goes on to say "wonder who would win." Tuesday night, King denied putting that on his page.
"I found out that was posted [Monday] morning. I don't manage that page. And I could control it, but I don't manage it. And I wasn't aware that that was posted until [Monday] morning, and I also was under the understanding that it was taken down right away and it wasn't. I wish it had never gone up," King said.

Yeah right. Dry that one out you could fertilize every fucking field in this state.

(15,062 posts)1. The problem with drying out his
bullshit and using it as fertilizer is there is so much hate, vile racism and anti-Semitism in it that it would kill vegetation. Not promote growth.

(63,152 posts)5. strangely enough I sort of believe him
many congress critters don't do their twitter or facebook. Often a staffer does.
That being said, he is still responsible for the content that is posted. Like every trumppublican King immediately sought to blame somebody else. The right thing to do would have been to take responsibility. Whoever posted it must have had King's tacit approval.

(50,713 posts)6. I heard from someone that his social media is run by his family.
It seems his son and daughter in law are permanent employees of his staff.
