And guess Kimmy was invited but turned them down.
The governors of seven Midwestern states announced Thursday they had agreed to work together to restart their economies amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Midwest agreement includes Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Kentucky.

(10,749 posts)But the various coalitions should be closed to other states once formed. Whether its for coordinated openings or shelters in place or buying Ppe, the coalitions work together and the non-members are on their own to do what they want. Ideally, businesses, large and small, in the coalition states will support their governors decisions and present a united front. Same with the west coast states and the mid Atlantic states.
Lets see where infections and deaths rise and fall. Lets see who cones out on the other side of this in good economic, health, and political shape.
One more thing. These coalitions should assemble advisory panels consisting of real experts and they should hold daily press briefings on updates in their states. Coordinate with the other coalitions.

(18,470 posts)If Kimmy isn't going to participate in beneficial coalitions with other states and only work with ones whose coalitions are little more than Fuck Face Ass Kissing Societies than its on her when the other states tell her to get fucking lost when Iowa's economy and health crater and I don't blame the other states either.
Hell I'm going to be looking to move out of Iowa in about a year or so.

(63,150 posts)also mentioned possibly Wisc and Ill but kind of as an aside.
Minnesota never got a mention. (Tim Walz - dem - has been begging Reynolds to please shut things down in Iowa.)
Sounded to me like she wanted to hook up with Trumper governors for the most part. SD, Mo and Nebr are way right IMHO. I know Ks. is a Dem but the legislatures are bright red. Not sure about ND. (just looked him up and IIRC he's nuts also.

It's not often a dumb ol redneck like me finds a thread where I agree with EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU! You folks make me think, you educate me with your analysis, make me smile--ALL of which gives me hope. Thank you very much--seriously. ..(now if I could only spell rightly)
