Haven't been paying close attention - Iowa's Covid-19 cases really jumping, aren't they?

from an email newsletter:

By the Numbers
Tuesday, June 2, 2020, 11:00 AM
Number of Iowa cases reported: 20,016
Number of Iowa deaths: 561
Total Number of People Tested in Iowa: 164,121

Source: Iowa Department of Public Health

The important thing is that Kimmy is really tight with Trump.

I see no assessment of how the Test Iowa is working. Heard so far it should be give a D or F grade.

You mentioned 'really jumping'...compared to what? Is the rate of cases per 100,000 population... SWBTATTReg Jun 2020 #1

increasing or just via the increased number of testing going on, thus in reality, the cases were at the same level, but testing revealed more of who had etc. Thanks.

Our governor (Kim Reynolds) has been running an inconsistent number of tests - or at least she was. Some days 2000 to 3000 some days in the low 100s. At least that is what is was last time I looked about ten days ago.

And my memory from that ten days ago is somewhat foggy but seems that the total cases were around 14,000 and deaths were around 400. The increase in deaths really surprised me.

I am sorry if you wanted exact numbers. I was trying to listen to Reynolds news conferece daily, but her bullshit drove me crazy.

keep unfortunately keep going up. Thanks again, and be safe! My governor in MO isn't exactly doing any better, being that he's a republican too, and didn't get voted into office either. He's basically a lackey for the republican controlled MO legislature. A sad one sided government. Take care and thanks!
