Are any Ks counties giving the booster shots with Moderna yet?

I know some counties have been giving the Pfizer booster, Sedgwick for one. The Ellis county health department
website claims they're waiting on a go-ahead from the state health dept. Everyone in our county got the
Moderna and a few got J&J from the local Dillons when it became available. CDC said go-ahead so why wait
on the state to say OK? Or is it some stupid chain-of-command thing where the state has to weigh in
all the politics of vaccines before they can make a decision? But if some counties whose first 2 doses were
Moderna and they're now giving Moderna boosters out, then it's my local health dept. dragging it's feet.

CVS (at least around here) was very quick at adapting the new guidelines and offering Moderna boosters. I had J & J in March and am getting a Moderna booster at CVS later this week.

I suppose getting a booster provides you protection, but living in a shithhole state like Kansas, puts you at risk each and every day. Doubtful KS will achieve anything above 65% when all is said and done.

and our health dept. is MAGA, I'd drive to another county to get the Moderna booster
if I knew which county to go to.

Sometimes I feel things are so bad, that merely living in America is painful. I couldn't even imagine what it would be like being surrounded by Fuckwits 24/7.

I only saw that they were scheduling but to check with them first.

We are quite a ways from you though. I would drive that far but my life is easily planned around.

Silly me, with people mentioning CVS, I checked our local Walgreens and they are giving boosters
to anyone over 65 & 6 months since last shot, I'll be taking my 92 year old mother there tomorrow.
And the Ellis county health dept. is still waiting on an OK from the state. What we get when MAGAts
run local government.

You were real lucky. I lived in Wichita for 38 years, there isn't what I would call any small towns left there.
Growing up in western KS, I always considered a small town to be one with just a few or no stop signs.
Can you claim that?
