They just can't except a new world.

Gone are the days when medical care was in the hands of a country doctor who may have had less then great training. They did their best but at that time it was the best most ordinary people could expect. Now we have the best you could ask for and every one should be able to receive the same care. Also gone are the poor farms where the old, poor and disabled were sent to live or die under hash conditions. All children have the opportunity for the best education not just a few years of the three R. The old republican notion that the working people should never have more money then they needed to survive one week because if they had more it would ruin the economy is gone. The Republicans want those day back. No matter how they spin it that is the end plan. If shutting down the government is the only way they see to accomplish this end then they will do it. Why because the republicans would rather destroy the country then except the new world.

Mnemosyne part of what prompted me to make this comment was yesterday I had an eye injured in a freak accident and because of Medicare what could have cost over a thousand dollars only cost thirty five. I guess typing with only one eye I missed proof reading. Sorry for the error but I hope people see the importance of the comment

my petty correction.

I am so sorry to hear of your injury, eyes are so important. I hope your eye will heal well.

I am very glad to learn that you will not be troubled by insane costs. I am uninsured for the last 5 years and for much of my life. It has been very expensive.
