(3,186 posts)He surprised me by going on his own initiative... I usually have to prompt him to get off his duff for referendum-only elections.
But what surprised me even more was the reason. Before I arrived home, he had received a call from the 'No On 1' people, spouting off their bs, urging him to vote no. He said that pissed him off enough to go out and vote yes on his own, with no pestering from me. He said he wasn't sure if it was a live person or robocall, but told them to F'off anyway.
Damn, I'm proud of him!
Seriously though, does anyone know of any polling done on Q1? The NO people seem to have been quite busy on this, and I'm seeing their signs all over the place up here in the hinterlands.
Get out and vote, if you haven't already folks! There is still time...

(3,186 posts)If it were not for you, I would be living in a red state... I'll never understand why poor rural counties like mine continually vote against their own best interests.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank those of you who live (and vote) in the progressive counties. You guys rock!
PS- Please don't ever leave us!

(3,186 posts)I wouldn't be a bit surprised if his campaigning on behalf of the NO people motivated many to get out and vote for Q1.
What a fool he is!
