this is something I posted a couple years back

here's something I would like to share with my friends in this forum; it is a lesson I learned at an early age= when business needs to raise more money to catch up to the cost of living it raises it's prices=when your employee needs a raise and he is a good employee you give him a raise or he becomes an others employee. Or like in Maine he leaves the state= our kids and grand kids:

well I have been busy with my wife who is recovering from major surgery and haven't had time to read my favorite Maine paper! Their is an article in the may first addition that all republicans should read! especially those who run the heritage of Maine misinformation center and our infamous Governor who babbled his remarks on increasing the minimum wage hurts the economy! their is an article which debunks 10 rumors about minimum wage all of which the heritage, and the governor subscribe to! Oh by the way the latest goof of the governor was saying how wind power was useless! that sure improved our chances of wining the 49 million dollar grant! (another boner from the right)! their are three of you who read my posts and try to snafu your ilk ! beware your stupidity is costing Mainers income! Here's a little info a mentor of me gave me at 19 when I got my first leadership roll in life. since their are few of you who could ever achieve the success this man had in life I doubt you have the brains to dispute it(that includes you gov.) you see he started on the Holland tunnel as a laborer! he went to night school and became a professional engineer! he retired as the chief engineer of New York city. HIS WORDS TO ME WAS WHEN YOU EVALUATE AND EMPLOYEE OF YOURS FOR A RAISE; GIVE IT TO HIM IF HE DESERVES IT; AFTER ALL BY RAISING HIS STANDARD OF LIVING YOU WILL ALWAYS RAISE YOURS IN THE END!
NOW THAT I AM RETIRED I CAN APPRECIATE WHAT WISDOM HE PASSED ON TO ME AND I TO OTHERS OVER THE YEARS.
