My last thought on the LePage situation.

I have a feeling that if I got into an argument with someone, called them all sorts of names or threatened to kill them, I would expect to be arrested and taken to jail. I would probably be brought up on numerous charges such as harassment, terrorizing and threatening to kill someone. I have a strong feeling that this is what would happen to me. However, I am just an old man, not a governor.

Years ago I worked with a guy who had a little brother still in school. Little brother was hyperactive and even with taking ritalin was still antsy and loud. Had to constantly make some kind of noise.

One day the school bus driver reached his limit, snatched the kid out of his seat and gave him a good shaking. Co-worker met the bus with his little brother the next morning. Told driver if he ever laid another hand on the kid, he'd " whoop his ass good," and went on to work. Within 2 hours the cops showed up and hauled co-worker off to jail for "making terroristic threats", a felony. He sat in jail for over a week and ultimately got probation, but faced up to 10 years.
