Chellie will win bigtime, but we can't let Kevin Raye take district 2. Mike and Chellie should stay put. I personally think Matt Dunlap would make a great US Senator. He's from the 2nd district but knows the whole state from being Secretary of State. He has some cross appeal with indies and moderate R's which is what we need in Maine. But what if Cutler gets in? What if Peter Mills gets in?

Former Attorney General, has won her state Republican (2nd District) district multiple times. Knows how to campaign...this woman knows how to campaign and she's a fierce advocate for woman's reproductive rights. I'd love to see her run. She was at our little caucus Sunday and she's a great Democrat. Well connected with maine Democrats in both districts.

A candidate must collect at least 2,000 signatures by then. If they haven't started already that's going to be tough.

We have good candidates on the Dem side. We don't need others.

The GOP is in trouble though.
