30 feet away from my property on a 6 foot drop. Found his den. This year, he's living elsewhere....but doing a lot more roaming, imho.

I have spent a lot of time following this Ground-Dude or Ground-Dudess.

Seems comfortable moving around the property.

We BOTH missed something(s) today. While posting sunset pics, 3 gaggles of geese flew by! OMG is a polite version of what I said.

I was sitting and posting sunset pics as they flew over, so I can say what TIME it was, but couldn't catch them, as chip was in 'puter to enable posting.

I enjoyed it but didn’t tell ya n now I see they were geese. You’re right..ducks in my head.

Ago, framed, of a chipmunk standing in a crook of a tree among fall leaves...get this, he is leaning with front left paw against the tree...upright..like " so, you think I'm handsome"...I will try to take pic of pic and post...this pic was taken back in late 70's..I have treasured the pic..and the memory of a dear friend as we used to hike in the woods near Dartmouth NH often....people ask if it is real..yes, is very special...
