Just 36 new cases in the entire state yesterday, the seven day average is currently 56 cases/day (state population is about 6 million). For context, that's the lowest new case total since March 19, 2020, and the lowest seven day average since March 25, 2020.

Almost the entire state is now in the "Green Zone" with an average of less than 1 new case per 100,000 residents over the last seven days.
56% of the total population fully vaccinated (62% one dose), 68% of all adults fully vaccinated (75% one dose), 86% of seniors fully vaccinated (92% one dose).

But I agree, Hogan could easily have gone down the same rhetorical path as many other GOP Governors on Covid, and he chose not to -- instead he followed the science. (He's also one of the few who publicly stood up against Trump.)
