According to my 1998 Bob Ryan Weather Almanac, sunset today is at

5:49 p.m. and sunrise at 6:56 a.m.

On the 21st, sunrise will be at 6:52 a.m. and sunset at 5:52. p.m., for eleven hours of daylight.

We haven't had eleven hours of daylight since October 20th (sunrise, 7:22 a.m. and sunset, 6:23 p.m.) or October 21st (sunrise, 7:23 a.m. and sunset, 6:22 p.m.).
