Maryland struck and killed a man before removing the body from the windshield of his car and fleeing the scene, according to a doorbell camera that recorded the incident.
The victim, 28-year-old Franklin Mendez, was found dead in the street on Ardwick Ardmore Road in Prince George's County on Saturday, the Prince George's County Police Department wrote on Facebook.
Officers responded to the 7500 block of Ardwick Ardmore Road for a welfare check at about 4:05 a.m. when they discovered the victim's body, which appeared to have suffered trauma.
Mendez was pronounced deceased on the scene, police said.

When neighbors checked their doorbell cameras for possible footage of the incident, they found video of the suspect exiting his car and pulling Mendez's body off his windshield before reentering his vehicle and driving away, FOX 5 DC reported.

Hit and runs are a big problem here. I say no mercy for them. Stop and at least get help instead of fleeing.

He thought he could get away without being discovered, apparently.
But after driving a couple miles with a dead body on his winshield? In a major suburban area of Washington?
When Im in the same situation I usually just accelerate rapidly, and then brake abruptly so the body rolls off the car. Then I open up another cold one, and take off again, swerving to avoid the body.

Shitty brakes --- well, the body just rolls off the hood and in front of you. Ya need brakes, strong enough to toss Henry at least 10 ft in front of the car.
