Chestertown special election set for Jan. 27

CHESTERTOWN — The Town of Chestertown will hold a special election Jan. 27 to fill vacant council seats for Wards 3 and 4.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chestertown Volunteer Fire House, 211 S. Maple Ave.

Ward 3 candidates for the four-year term are John James Beloved and Andre DeMattia. Ward 4 candidates for the remaining two-year term are Marcus Goldman, Stephen J. Lozar and Ryan McGuire.

Absentee ballot applications can be requested in person at Town Hall, 118 N. Cross St., or by calling 410-778-0500.
