GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Rush Limbaugh dropped from WRKO[/font]

Conservative lightning rod Rush Limbaugh will no longer air on WRKO in Boston, the radio network that syndicates his show said in a statement.

“We were unable to reach agreeable terms for The Rush Limbaugh Show to continue on WRKO,” Premiere Networks said. The company did not provide details about why an agreement could not be reached.

The company said that information on the show’s final broadcast on WRKO would be announced at a later date.

Premiere Networks also indicated that Limbaugh would be back on the airwaves in Boston in the future.

“Rush Limbaugh airs daily in every measured media market in America, and we look forward to announcing exciting news for our Boston listeners soon.”....

Of course, Rushbo will still be filthy rich. Will his loss of influence hurt him more than loss of money? I sure hope so, but somehow I doubt it.

It is a lunatic station--I wish they'd go back to playing top forty shit, like they did in the late sixties. http://wrko.org/

Although, I see him as a has-been anyway. The people that listen to him around me, seem to have a chip on their shoulders. I guess because they've had to live with 8 years of a Dem president.

There's an older "gentleman" (senior citizen) at my gym who's the type that walks down the center of an aisle and won't move an inch to the side for anyone. I heard him raving about how horrible Obama is, etc, etc, etc.

I saw him leaving the gym today with a huge set of headphones on, shaking his head as he walked. I'm guessing he was listening to some right-wing AM radio show.

I see him as the Rush listeners.

Or the guy who sits alone in his townhouse backyard area screaming at a friend over the phone—spewing racist slurs and AM radio anti-government phrases.

17. He'll likely be on a weaker signal station 1510 WMEX

which was formerly a liberal station with call signs WWZN until around 2013. WMEX is Boston's home for Hannity and Savage.

to sports talk radio and have no reasonable way to escape it.

I don't watch Fox News, neither the one on Channel 34, or the Fox version of daily and nightly news on Channel 25. Or visit Republican message boards, unless I click too fast on a link then gets me there. Then I leave as soon as humanly possible. I suppose I should be more curious. I'm not.

19. I know channel 25 in Boston is Fox TV (now owned by Cox Media not Fox)

Because Fox network traded WFXT to Cox in exchange for Cox-owned KTVU out here in San Francisco. But channel 34? Is that where Fox "News" is on your local cable system?
